Blue Whales

The blue whale is the largest animal ever known to have existed, with the heart the size of a small car and a heartbeat that can be detected from two milesaway!

Each year large number these amazing animals come to the Gulf of Corcovado and Chiloé in Chile to feed and raise their calves. But this unique area is nowunder threat from increasing development in the form of tourism, fishing and marine traffic.
